Adire is the indigo-dyed textile cloth made in southwestern Nigeria by Yoruba women, using a variety of resist-dyeing techniques all made by hand. It has the appearance of Tie Dye fabric.

The Adire craftsmanship & skill has been passed down & taught from generations of Yoruba families to their women; this has been the trade of Yoruba women for generations.

It originally came in the form of cotton but modern innovations have made it available in Pure Silk & Chiffon.
